L Hutton of Rural Route 4, Charleston. The Moose Club donated the proceeds of its Ma and Pa Social held recently to Mrs. Hutton for the purchase of barbeque ingredients. Mrs Hutton plans to make several cases of the food and send it to her sun, Peter, for distribution. Other cases of food will be sent to central Vietnam in areas where Gl's find good food hard to come by. Donations of cash and pork from several merchants and individuals have also been earmarked for the program. Mrs. Hutton s son’s address is: Pvt. Peter George Hutton, 94th Artillery, Second Battalion, Dong Ha, Vietnam . . .A minister chanced to meet a member of the congregation who had imbibed too freely and was having difficulty navigating on his walk home. Sympathetically, the preacher grasped the man’s arm and helped to steer him home. “Come on in,” insisted the wobbly fellow. “1 want to be sure my wife sees who I was with this evening.”. . . A computer can get more work done faster than a human because it doesn’t have to waste time to answer the telephone. . . . Remarkable Remark. “As I look at my brothers and sisters in the cities, 1 must say, ‘This is not the way.’ A riot does more harm to Negroes than to anyone else. I’ve decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
