PINEY SOLDIERS IN GERMANYThree Eastern Manitobans who are stationed at thei Canadian Army base at Soest. Germany. From left to right: they are: Rfn. Phillip Clark, Bissct. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Clark, Rfn. Roy Produn of Beaconia. and Rfn. Nor-j man Anderson, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Piney. Man. All three belong to the famous I Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, a unit that will celebrate! its 100th anniversary next year. Holding the weights in the gymnasium at the army camp is Rfn Produn, whose husky build testifies to his physical strength.
