Hoovler in Virginia jArlvn Hoovler, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hoovler of Truemans, entered the Navy on March 10, 1943, He received his boot training at Sampson I N, Y., and then was sent to Richmond, Va., to study diesel engineering. Following this course, he had a five weeks course at the same school in advance diesel training. On September 3 he was promoted to M.O,M.M.2c and, after a short leave, was transferred toLittle Creek near Norfolk, Va. He hasmany friends and relatives in Titusville. His present address is: Arlyn Hoovler, M.O.M.M.2c, Available Flotilla, Group 3, Division 5, A, T. B., Little Creek, Va.
