We take the* following from theCourier in regard to the onion reun-ion held at Madison, Sept* 16:Meeting of the 6th regiment, Sept. 18, 1891.—The surviving members of the S»xth ind. Vol. Keg't. met at 8 a. ra.t and elected Hiram Heath, Pres.; Willis H. Ryker, Tice Pres.; Richard A. Conner, See'y.; John V. Anderson, Treas.; John W. Allen, Chaplain, and Captain C. O. Briant, of Versailles, Historian.The Association ordered the immediate erection of a $1,400 granite and bronze monument eighteen feet highat North Vernon in memory of Col. H. Tripp.Indianapolis was selected as the place of meeting next year.We take the following from the Roster Soldiers in attendance, and reportall that reside in the county and those who are well known.Sixth Ind.—W.
