Receives Promotion« 1. AFT. DIX, N. J.—Robert A. Weckerle, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent E. Weckerle, 107 S. Eighth St., Lindenhurst, was promoted to Army private pay grade E-2 upon completion of basic combat training at Ft. Dix, N.J., Nov. 8.The promotion was awarded two months earlier than is customary under an Army policy providing incentive for outstanding trainees.
