V^UUi AVAWAAWord was received in Cedar City this morning that another quota had h»M.*n assigned lc» the 213th Armored Field Artillery battalion, National Guard unit serving in Korea, and that another 50 men are apparently on i heir way home. The quota of 50 men was received on Nov. 23. and the men were to leave Service Battery enrouto to Japan on Nov. 28.The last letters received I mmthe men of the battalion were written on Nov. 23. the day the quota was received, hut is assumed that the men would leave upon day assigned.Of the 50 men to leave the battalion 11 of them were from Headquarters Battery, the Cedar City unit. The Headquarters group includes Daryl I ml ay, Roy Farley, David A. Ronzo, Klien Rollo, Lowell Sherratt, Lloyd Fid-erton and Bobby Hunter of Cedar City; Lyle Morris. Fa rowan; David Melville. Fillmore, a former R A C student: EdwardEvans, a regular army man. and a Sgt. Medearv of the medical detachment. Just how soon the group will arrive in the states is not know n.This is the second regular rotation quota for the battalion, with 74 men. 14 of whom were from Headquarters battery having left the outfit on Nov. 17. This group, however, ran Into considerable difficulty in getting transportation home and were delayed enroute. Word was received from them by telephone from Japan on Nov. 27, that they had not left then, hut expected to soon. It Is assumed that they are now on the way home by boat.The first group to leave for home included Scott Uric, Court Nelson. Chester Bar rick. Clyde Nelson. Pete Nelson, Boyd Holy oak, Clair Macfarlane. Don Wood. Milt Jolley, Arthur Dustin. MelClow, W. if. Davis, and two reg ular army men.Don Nelson and MacDonald Red Armstrong, left a few days earlier but as far as we have been able to learn they have not yet reached the states.During November about 40 promotions were made in the battalion. with 14 of them going tc Headquarters battery members The promotions listed in the Cedar City group, were as follows: Wilford E.
