Induct 14Into ServiceWHITEHALL, Wis.—(Special) Fourteen Trempealeau countymen left from Whitehall Tuesday for induction into the armyat Minneapolis, according toPhyllis Tangen, clerk of the selective service board.Leader of the group was Allen Thomas Engen, Whitehall, and the others were Durk Theodore Oedsma, Galesville; Verlyn Roy Peet, Berdell Gerhard Roe-ber, Osseo; Raymond George Pietrek. Jr.. Louis Alois Pogre-ba, Elroy; James Pampuch, Richard V. Dusenbery, Wilfred Jerome Smieja, Independence; La Verne Clifford Knutson, Blair; La Vern Myron Gunderson, Whitehall; Floyd La Verne Olson, Strum; Edmund Bartholomew Kotlarz, Arcadia; and La Verne Kenneth Elland, Ettrick. James Eugene Thompson andDuane Eldon Haugrose were transferred out of Trempealeau countv to the draft boards at; Eau Claire and Hudson, respectively. j
