KILLED IN' ACTION—Private Car! T. Ootui, 20, son of Mrs. Bertha Cross, 4202 North Chester avenue, was killed in action Novem taer 11 in France. Private Cross had been serving: in the infantry j for more than two years and was a first machine gunner. Beside* hismother, he Is survived by three sisters w ho reside in L«»np Beach, i Stockton and Bakersfield and twobrothers, who reside in Los An«e-les and Mar^sivilt.
