7ft*A private letter from the Sixtieth Indiana regiment, puts the federal loss in the battle of CaroneroBayou at twenty-five killed and eighty-two wounded; Confederate loss fifty tlt; killed and about one hundred and twenty wounded. The wounded are nearly all in New Orleans and well f| cared for. The wounded of the Sixtieth are the following:Company A—Jacob Boyer, flesh wound, left thigh; Herman Filbe, left ankle, slight*Company B—Joseph Williams, skull fractured, probably fatal; John Clifft, right shoulder and back, flesh.Company C—Thos. Richardson, right thigh, flesh; John P. Cavitt, right side, slight; John Wade, right hand, wrist and fourth finger; Thos. Barret, right hip, painful.Company D—W. H.
