To Prepare More Remembrance BooksOTTAWA (C£) — Two morebooks of remembrance honoring Canada’s war dead, including those lost in the Korean war of 1950-53, are to be prepared by federal heraldic expert Alan B. Beddoe*The veterans affairs department announced Tuesday that the other book will contain about 275 names of Canadians killed in the Nile expedition of 1884-85 and the South African war of 1899-1902. The second book would contain the names of 425 Canadians killed in the Korean war.Mr. Beddoe and his staff of calligraphers recently completed a book of remembrance containing the names of Second World War dead. It is being kept for the present in the memorial chamber of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill where a book listing the First World War dead has been on display for many years.
