He entered the Army at I Fort Leavenworth, December 2,! 1942, and received basic training at f St, Petersburg, Fla. Before entering the service, he was an aircraft worker at Boeing plant in Wichita. Russell is a graduate of the Allen Rural High scl ool. His wife was the former Miss Esther Humphreys, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Griffith Humphreys, of Admire.
