Adams, pastor of the First Uni verbalist chucn and Ur* bana’s “fighting parson/' has received a commission at first lieutenant of infantry, it was announced today at .the second reserve offlcors* training')' school, Ft. Sheridan.Charles Bowen Busey, assistant-» *cashier in Bussey's State bank, also was commissioned first lieutenant of infantry. Kenneth Buchanan, advertising manager for the. Courier, won a second lieutenancy in the field arljt’cry. Jack C. Keran of Chain* paign was given the same rank in the Infantry as Rev. Mr. Adams and Mr. Busey, and 'Edwin W. Majtoon of Cnampaign the same as Mr. Buchanan.These were the only Champaign county boys whose names wore in* elided in the list made public todRy.The list also contains the name of Thomas W. Casey of Chicago, brother of Mrs. C. V. Richards and of Paul Casey, this city, who was cominis sioned first lieutenant of infantry.i
