FORT DOUGLAS (Special!—A former Ixigan resident has been appointed a second lieutenant in the Regular Army of the United States in the QuartermasterCorps, the Department of Army announced here todayAt the direction of the Presidentof th United States, 2nd Lt. Caleb A Shreeve Jr., now of Ogden, and member of the Army Reserve, is to become a member ot the Regular Army. jLt. Shreeve has been designated as a distinguished military graduate from Utah State College. He graduated in June 1954 with a BS degree in Social Science. In competition with distinguished j military graduates troni other universities having Quartermaster Units, Lt. Shreeve attained the highest Adjutant, General’s rating—being number one of two appointmnts selected for Regular Army.
