The aged soldier was twice married Four of his six children are _tilj living, including Ures Massie, *iear here Ira Gilbert, Akron, Leo, Akron, and Elmer, East Liverpool He has six grandchildrenUnlike Comrades John Sealock and Jacob McBndge Massie does not recede a pension from the government but since moving to Ohic he has be^n getting the old age pension Six vears ago he was given a medal bv the United Daughters of th* Confederacy, ^1 which he still prizes very highly.1 lTr» T 4-.n
