Kll.tJKD IN CRASH—Ensign An-brew W. Ackley, 26. a Hellcat fighter pilot who took off from aPacific island base for a pre-dawn training: flight, was killed November IS, 1944. when his plane crashed two miles from shore. The pilot went down with his plane. His twin brother. Charles Raymond Ackley, A. C. O. M.. United States Navy, who has been overseas about three years, is now stationed at Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is also survived by hs parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ft. Ackley, 2SQ1 Merton avenue, a sister, Mrs. J. W. Boyd, and a niece and two nephews of Hanford and his grandfather. A. A.
