Mabel Cox, 96, 601 Emerson Ave., died in the Golden Years Nursing Home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.Born in Franklin, she was a daughter of Thomas and Julia Meeker Fishwick, and she was educated in the Franklin public schools.She married Jessie L, Cox, April 8, 1913, in Hamilton, and he preceded her in death June 21, 1939.She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists of Hamilton.Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs, W, H. (Ann) Knight, and a step-son, Malcom Cox Sr., both of Hamilton; two grandsons, Michael Knight, Philadelphia, Pa., and Malcom Cox Jr., Hamilton.Services will be at the Webb Funeral Home, 240 Koss Ave., at 2 p.m. Monday.Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday.Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.Those desiring may contribute to their .favorite charity in Mrs. Cox name.
