Marie, was one of eight officer* in the S2nd Airborne Division pro* moted to cap tain last week.Captain Delaney ia in charge oi the Officer Club in the division. While overseas for four years he was with the 52nd Infantry Division during World War II and the 187th Airborne Infantry in Korea.He is married to the former Nor magene Beckman of Bay City. Michigan.Captain Delaney atended the Soo High School. His decorations include the Bronae Star, Purple Heart and Pre-Pearl Harbor medals. He has 35 parachute jumps including one combat leap.
