Married Nurses To Be Accepted By U. S. ArmyMarried nurses under 40 years of age .who meet requirements are now eligible for assignment to the army nurse corps, national American Rod Cross officials hav« advised Miss Frances Hotopp key nurao of the Red Cross in Gal-vcstoq.Among requirements for service are that nurses sign tip for the duration of the war, phis six months; thnt they must consent unreservedly 1o serve wherever assigned; and that if they have minor children they will ho accepted only when adequate provision has been made for the care of these children outside the army post.There arc several reservations included in enlUlmont. Nurses will not be. retained In dr assigned to the sama camps whore their husbands arc stationed. If such a situation develops, the nurse will have to be transferred to another service command.The appeal for married nurses is deslgnca .principally to interest nurses without dependents andwhoso husbands are already in military service.
