Juniors Honoring FC Girl For Attainments at SchoolMiss Grace Charney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Charney of 1231 6th Ave . Ford City, will be honored as November girlof-the-month when members of Kiitanning - Ford City Junior Woman’s Club meet at 1:15 tonight at West Penn Power Company Northern Division headquarters, intersection of Routes 422 and 28 west of here. She was selected for scholarship, reliability, co-operation, industry. personality, leadership and character. Consideration is also given to her activities in schooland community.Miss Charney attends Ford] City High School, where she ranks Uth in a class of 270 She is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Teachers of America and is co-editor! of the school newspaper. She is also a member of the Varsity Chorus, Girls’ Sextet. Senior Ensemble and has been chosen to participate in Armstrong County Chorus in Decern-! ber and District Chorus in January'.Among Miss Charr.ey’s outstanding achievements, she has received a Letter of Commendation in the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, a Student Council service award during the 1965-66 school term and was awarded a certificate of Educational Development in the National Education Development in the National Education Development Test during her sophomore year.A member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, she is a former member of the Catholic Youth Organization.
