Finnem, 22, of X^ake Park, is near successful completion of his basic training at Good-fellow Field and soon will move on to advanced school for the last stop in his quest for Wings. - ^ -Upon winning the coveted silver insignia of Uncle Sam's Army Air Forces war pilots with other classmates of 43-B, the young flier will be ready for -realization of his long-sought goal—an aerial crack at the axis.Aviation Cadet Finnem son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Finnem, route 2, Lake Park, underwent primary flight training at Ballinger, Texas. Cadet Finnem was helping his father on the' farm prior to his appointment as aviation cadet.
