Captain Charles J. Roden. C. E., U. S. A., husband of Mrs. Veronica M. (Shea) Roden of 23 Bcdlow avenue, has been discharged from i he army after five years service. He recently returned to the United States after 25 months over-teas and wears the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart/ Presidential Citation with oak lenf cluster, nnd the Beljjiah Croix de Guerre.
