(Citizen Photo)Brazilians Here To Prepare For Modification Of B26sAn advance party from the Brazilian Air Force flow here yesterday to prepare for a $.1 million modification project to be undertaken by the Hamilton Aircraft Co.Under the agreement with the Brazilian Air Force, Hamilton will modify and modernize a number of B26 aircraft.Nine officers and men fiew in here yesterday with a C130 cargo ship loaded with bomb sights and eletronic equipment to be installed in the renovated planes.“The first six planes will fly in here on Sunday.” said CarlMellick, a director of the Hamilton company. “They are making (he trip from Brazil in formation.“We will start immediately taking the motors out. AH of them have to be rebuilt. And then we will gradually' go into the wing structure.”The leader of the Brazilian group arriving here yesterday was Maj. Aylton Baeta who will be in Tucson for a year lo inspect the work, Mellick said that there will be from 10 to 12 Brazilians here at various times.Gordon B.
