Edmond Prefontaine. representing the provincial government; Gordon Barkman, president of the local Legion, and Mrs Louise Thiessen, president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.The sermon was given by Rev Martin Hulscmann. pastor of the Lutheran Church His theme was Remember the past, to remember rightly', the future today.” We enjoy peace and justice today because of the men who sacrificed their lives yesterday. The very meaning of life is sacrifice.The parade to the cenotaph started at the south end of town, with Ihe Grunthal Boys' Band In attendance. Albert Dueck and Joe Hornan were color bearers
