Monday, November 11, was a legal holiday. It used to be called Armistice Day in honor of the signing of the victory armistice of World War I. In recent years, it is calledt.Veterns’ Day to honor our veterans of several wars. No special exercises were held at Western, and no holiday was declared. This custom allows an extra day on the Thanksgiving or Christmas vacations.Sgt. W. R.
