SERGEANT AWARDED BRONZE ARROWHEAD, PRESIDENTIAL BADGESergeant James A. Fazzoni, of 62-7 Fallowfield. avenue, who is at present stationed in Manila, is the recipient of both the Bronze Arrowhead and the Presidential Citation.The Bronze Service Arrowhead was awarded the 187th Gl-ider Infantry for the assault landing by units of the llih Airborne ‘Division at Nasug-bu, Luzon, Philippine Islands, 31 January 1845. As a member of this unit 'Sergeant Fazzoni is entitled to wea.r the ’bronze arrowhead on his Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon.The Presidential Citation was awarded to the 'First Battalion, 187th Glider Infantry, for battle honors for outstanding and conspicious performance of duty in action against the enemy on Luzon, Philippine Islands from 31 January to 5 February 1945. As a member of this unit he is entitled to wear the Distinguishedd Service badge.
