Pfc. Harold Becker DischargedPfc. Harold L. Becker, 24, son of Mrs. Gazella Becker, 214 South Main St., received his discharge at Indiantown Gap, Pa., Nov. 1, and arrived at his home later -that day. He says it's*great to be home.Harold was inducted in the U. S. Army at Columbus, Oct. 31, 1950, went to Ft Knox, Ky. for processing and was sent to Camp Pickett, Va., for 12 fhonths training before going to Augsburg, Germany, where he spent 12 months in Hq. Hq. Co., 102 Infantry Regiment of the 43rd Div.Leaving Germany %Oct. 4, he returned lo the states via Goose Bay Labrador, Norfolk, Va., New York, Camp Kilmer, N. J., and Indiantown Gap, Pa.Harold attended Rittman schools and was employed by the Gilbert Lumber Co. in Smithville three years prior to his induction. He has resumed his duties with the same company and is happy in his work.
