November 11, will be observed here by Greenwich Post, American I/egion. which is to hold Its sixth annual ball in the .State Armory. The drill shed will . be £anly decorated %vlth . the National colors and there wii] be many attractive features.’ It Is expected that speakers of high rank in military circles, who will lie in Stamford that day for the big State demonstration will be. present and give brief talks durinc the evening. A feature be Urn music, which will be furnished by Professor Bernhard, Devitow’s famous- HotelCommodore orchestra, New York. The orchestra will give a . concert program from 8 to 0 a. m. The committee in charge of the ball consists of Commander .T. Albert Hughes, chairman; Mills IT. Hus-ted, John Durkin anc Elmer Elkins.
