Knox, Ky.They panned out terrifically, he said.While in Vietnam, Sgt. Brown’s brigade operated in War Zone C with the permanent base at Tay Nihn. The brigade also operated in WarZone D. The 196th was thefirst light infantry brigade to serve in Vietnam.Of the Vietnam war, Sgt. Brown said they're doing a terrific job over there. I think it’s a necessity.
