Legion Rites Slated SundayThe Rev. James M. Dick, rector of Christ Episcopal church and chaplain of the local post of the American Legion, has planned a special Armistice service for all members of the Pulaski post and for the parents of those boys who lost their lives in the service of their country, and these ex-soldier boys who have died since the World war, at Christ church, Sunday at 11 a. m. There will be special music and a special sermon. During the service the roll call will take place. While all stand in silence taps will be sounded. This is done in honor of the dead. Mr. Dick is anxious to have all Legionets assemble at the Hotel Pulaski at 10:50 and come to the service in a body.The roll call includes:Killed in action: Clay Poore, S. W. Ratcliff, and Jason Honaker.Died during the war in camps: J. Elt; Crowell, Elbert Rhoades, Oney Simmons, P. L. White, Joe Hicks, Ellis G. Williams, ErneSt Hicks, Donald Spotts, and RalphWorrell.Members of local post that have died since the World war: Lawrence Tolbert, Charlie Stone, Marion Ayers, W. B. Hall, Edd Southern, Willie Albert, G. E. Dudley, Curtis Daugherty, F. J. Laughon, W. B. Holiday, Joseph S. Tipton, Titus Kidd; W. C. Hurley, C. L. Pagan, John Davis, Charles E. Dyer, Charlie Vickers, S. G. Wygal, J. E. Wilson, W. McK. Likens, J. S. Allen, L. S. Lemons, C, J. King, A. G. Miller, Irving Kidd, Posy Montgomery, Clyde Albert, and Tate Crockett.
