Twin Boy, Girl Enlist In ArmyCHICAGO M — The 18-yea r-old Hummer twins enlisted in the Army but they will serve in separate branches of the service.Ned will study electric motor and generator repair. His sister, Nancy, will study dental laboratory work in the Women’s Army Corps.The twins are honor graduates of suburban Downers Grove High School where they will be inducted Tuesday. The Chicago area Army recruiting office said they were the first boy-girl twins to enlist here.
