Soldiers and Planes Here AgainAfter a long absence, airplanes and soldiers from the Arcadia camps began coming here again last week and were given a most cordial welcome by all our people.1 A lone plane sailing grandly over the town, Friday afternoon, was the advance courier of the sota dicrs’ return.Saturday, they began cominJn cars and by rail, and at nijfnt Marian avenue and the picture show were alive with them. S|U-dnv, too, the soldiers were in cadence everywhere about town. *Sunday afternoon, two Mf-planes came down and landed Bi the southern part of town, and nearly every body hurried out in' ears, on hikes and on foot to see the machines and welcome the aviators. Punta Gorda nearly “goes wild” over these hrBve, handsome soldiers and their mechanical condors.
