T)ov In course of erection on the Mo-nocacy hattlefleld. to the memory of the troops of the One Hundred and Tbirty-flftb,Eighty seventh and Hlity-aeventh Pennsylvania Regiments, which fooght In that engagement. The an veiling will take place r»a November 24 and will be preceded by a reunion in this city of the atirrivors.The monument, which will be a granite abaft, stands at a point formerly In the thick of the tight. It is about three-quarters of a mile south of Monocacy Junction, on the east aide of the turnpike, directly opposite Arsby chapel. It la nn-derstood that survivor* of Vermont, Ohio and New York regiments will erect mono menta on the hattlefleld. About one year ago the New Jersey troops spent $10,000 in a monument—-the first to be erected on the field. - *
