Air Warning Service Wings ! Awarded to Nearly 200ii1 Approximately two hundred persons j received recognition through the cere-| monies held by the Observation Post 1662-A Air Warning Service of the Army Air Forces, on Sunday afternoon, at the American Legion Home. The program with Chief Observer Henry R. Fenninger presiding, started with the group singing of “America,” accompanied by Mrs. Elsie Y. Walters. This was followed by the invocation and a talk by Rev. Frank C. Aungst. Mr. Fenninger gave the history of the Post and called for volunteers to man the post on each Wednesday. The Assistant Chief Observers are Jacob H. Patches and John F. Rennirjger.The following are those who have been awarded the air warning service wings, the first group being now ’ in. the armed forces:• Horace Weaver, Clarence Uutt, John Setfrcd, Arnold Woligarten, Milton jWasamann, Charles Irons, Samuel O. 'Zimmerman, Miss Elizabeth Groff.! Mrs. Milton Wassuiann, John Weber,J Kermit Zimmerman, Paul Kochel, Richard Kochel, Clarence Nelson, Lamar Blass and Melvin Frank.Others are: Clifford Townsloy, Edgar Hutchison, J, Harvey Shue, Robert Wright, Elwood Baer, A.
