I TYPHOON IN PHILIPPINES.Extensive Damage Wrought to Army Posts—Communication Affected.M ashing ton, Nov, S,—Serious dam-age was wrought at the army posts in the Philippines by a typhoon which swept over the Islands October31, according' to a cable report received at the war department today from Gen. William P. Duvall, commanding united States army in the Philippines. At Camp Downes, Dayte. in the department of Disayas, one of the barracksand storehouse were destroyed. Three barracks were damaged and a number of braidings were unroofed. There were no casxialtSes. Serious damage 1 is also reported to the buildings at Camp Warwick and the target range at Cebu.
