Seven Local YouthsJoin Marine CorpsSeven local youths were enlisted Tuesday in the United States Marine Corps and were assigned to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif, for 12 weeks of basic training. Hie seven will be appointed to the same recruit platoon.Following their initial phase they will be transferred to Camp Pendleton, Calif, where they will undergo four weeks of individual combat training.
