STAND ARD-EXAMINER, NOVEMBER 3, 1947 ♦— -Promotion Giver To Jack K. SaseCommanding officer of headquarters battery, '820th field artillery battalion,' First Cavalry division, Japan, recently announced the promotion of Jack K. Sase to the rank of technician fourth grade. T/4 Sase, son of Mrs. Kitty Sase, 2209 Grant. Ogden, is serving as steward in the officers mess.Prior to entering the service, T/4 Sase v/8s an employe of the Royal Canning Co. He enlisted in the army in September, 1946 and received basic training at Fort Knox, Ky. In January, 1947, he sailed for Japan.
