Audrey L. Capps, 24, was pro* moted to Army corporal while assigned to the 94th Artillery in Vietnam.Cpl. Capps, assigned to Battery C of the artillery’s 2nd Battalion, entered the Army in September, 1966, and was stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla., before arriving overseas in February, 1967.He graduated from Gilmer High School in 1963. His wife, Davalene, lives in Leesburg.Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and Scotty of Mesquite visited during the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Pritchett.
