PFC. BURL MEADOR GETS DISCHARGE FROM ARMYBurl Meador received his honorable discharge from the Army October 10 while at Ft. Sheridan, after serving twenty-seven months overseas in the South Pacific. His travels took him to engagements at the Hawaiian Islands, New Guinea, Netherlands East Indies, and Luzon in the Philippines. He served in the 130th Infantry of the Old 33rd Division.
