Mr. Carter left this city for the west eleven years ago and located at Prescott, Ariz,, where he resided until the breaking out of the war, He tells interesting stories of the experiences of the Rough Riders In Cuba. Mr. Carter will remain in this city for a shortwhile and then depart for his home in Arizona.St. Clements Court, 0. O. B\, of Bankston, have sent J. Y. Kelly to Jacksonville to look after Private W. E, Deegan, a member of Company D, Forty-ninth regiment, who is sick in the hospital in that place.
