Seen in the picture above, left to right, are: Billy McNair of 1121 North 15th Avenue; Henry Cogh-lan of 714 10th Avenue, and Larry Alexander of 1322 3rd Avenue.These three men enlisted in theLaurel Naval Reserve unit recently and applied for training in the 80 day accelerated recruit training program at Oreat Lakes, Illinois. They will report to The Naval Training Center Oreat Lakes on June 4th and train for 80 days. Upon completion they will return to Laurel and drill weekly with the Laurel Naval He-serve Unit.On completion of the accelerated course at Oreat Lakes they will be Immediately promoted to Seaman Apprentice.
