Nevada Infantrymen j Stationed in England1Prepare for Invasion;—u iUndergoing what is considered, the most rigorous training program in the American army history, two Nevada men* Lieut. Thomas H. j Williams of Reno and Pfc. Floyd; J. Deitchler of Las Vegas, are sta-; tioned with infantry troops in England preparing for D-Day by mastering the intricacies of invasion, it was learned yesterday.Preparing to fight under almost any imaginable circumstances, the troops are expected to be skilled in the basic training of infanlrymen, as well as be specialized in the particular unit to which they are attached These men are expected to master about 15 different wapons, study scouting and patrolling, map and compass work.Lieutenant Williams, son of ihe late Sgt Thomas H. Williams, Sr., = of the Reno police department, has -been stationed m England for 19 | months. His home address is TO Keystone Avenue. Private Deitch-ler was formerly associated with the Gibbons and Reed Company.
