Stillwell, a Champaign herb who met death in the world war, at10:30 o’clock this morning in the West Side park of Champaign.'C. E. Wellman of Danville, past department commander of the Veterans#of Foreign Wars and Dr. Charles B.Johnson, member of the Col. Nodinepost bf the local G* A. R. will make the principal addresses for the occasion.%Singing Begins ProgramThe program will begin with the singing of “America.” Virgil L. Har-ivey, commander of the local veterans^ will tell ot^the life of Lieut. Stillwell and the marker to him will be unveiled by ^Valter Donley and Kenneth Boyaker, twin city boy scouts..Lieut. Stillwell, after whom the lo-9cal veterans post is rfttined, was killed October 5 near Verdun by a machine gun bullet. Not only did he serve overseas but he also did duty in the St. Louis riots, the Mexican border troubles and the Charleston tornado as a member of the local militia company. At the time of his death he was a lieutenant in company E, 59th infantry, fourth division.Stillwell was* born October, 189^in New Richmond, Ohio, but^his parents moved to the twin cities five years later and \ie resided here until^he, joined the atay. The marker will be beneath a tree also dedicated to Still-well. d
