The salute was done behind the Legion building and repeated at the Humboldt County Courthouse.Memorial Day servicesforced inside by rainFor the first time in many years, Memorial Day services were forced inside and the parade cancelled by rain and cold temperatures Monday.A large crowd attended at the Legion building basement with the Humboldt High School Marching Band gathered in the back room.The firing squad shot off a salute in die back alley.Address of the Day was by Phil Kennedy, president of Hawkeye Bank and TrustMaster of Ceremonieswas Rich Moench, Rev.
