City and elsewhere, has been carefully prepared for the Dally Press by Colonel Jones, past commander of the Grand Army post, Iowa City, and hia son, Dr. M. A. H. Jones, of the Sons of Veteran*.Colonel Jones and Dr. Jones emphasize the fact that the list does not purport to be complete, but they hope to have one complete in due time. The committeemen of the Grand Army and the Sons of Veterans are working hard fo achieve that purpose and they will be grateful to any member, of a warrior’s! family, who sends to eitherof the above named compilers, anycorrections of the accompanying roster; or any additional names, where ommissions are nbted. , ;It is desired that every soldier boy or man, burled in Johnspn. county either in Iowa City, or elsewhere, and every other Johnson county soldier, j who is now dead, shall be recordedP.
