SERVICEMEN HONOREDPosen American Legion Post 990 issponsoring Memorial Day Services on Saturday May 30, 1964, to honor the memory of those who gave their lives in the service of our Country. Services will begin with a Mass at 9:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Following this service, American Legion members and ladies of the Posen American Legion Auxiliary and all others who wish to participate will proceed to the Posen Village Hall for an appropriate Memorial Day Ceremony.On Sunday, May 3 1, the Posen American Legion will participate with the Posen Baseball Club in the annual parade, to open the baseball season in Posen. The parade will assemble at 147th and T roy at 1:00 p.m. and will march to the baseball field at 143rd and Campbell Ave. for opening day ceremonies. A special feature of this ceremony will be the presentation and dedication of a flagpole and flag to the Posen Park District by American Legion Post 990.All American Legion members and ladies of the Auxiliary and all Posen residents are urged to participate in the ceremonies and parade on Memorial Day, Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.
