Former Grid*Star Is HeroPITTSBURGH, May 27—lt;U.R}— A Conemaugh Twp. Marino private revealed to his parents while on leave how Lt. Francis X. Reagan, former All-America football star at University of Pennsylvania, saved him from drowning in flooded Green Creek, near the Wuantico, Va., Marine base.Pvt. Arnold Jacobs, of Holls-opple, R. D. 3, told Ms parents that when he was swept into the stream, Lt. Reagan raced a jeep down a road about 600 yards, climbed cut on a tree limb that 'hung oyeiP'the water and grabbed Jacobs1 hand as he drifted past.
