Colonel Robert Renny, c.b., Bengal StaffCorps, has joined his new appointment as Assistant Adjutant-general of the Oude Division at Lucknow, and taken over the duties of his office from Colonel Barwell, appointed Officiating Commandant of the 16th Regiment N.I., quartered at Fyzabad. Notwithstanding the unusual heat, the troops generally in that large station are very healthy. The cantonments are in capital order, and every attention is paid to conservancy matters, and the dry. earth system is being fairly tried.—Delhi Gazette, April 25.
