mmmmkMARION COUNTY 1918 DRAFT QUOTA-The largest single draft quota in the period, 149 men, was called May 22, 1918. Men reported six days later at the Salem Courthouse for transfer toCamp Shelby, Miss. The group took the train through Centralia and stopped here for dinner. Sixty-two draftees were from Centralia. Names of the group are in story on Page 5-D.
