a wide variety or crops.sbMj over 5500 poppiesFREMONT, May 25—(Special)— Auxiliaries of the American Lejrion and Veterans of Foreign Wars sold more than 5,500 poppies on the streets here Saturday and realized in excess of $410 for the rehabilitation artd welfare funds of both units, their chairmen, Mrs. Henry Warner and Mrs. Joseph For-gtach reported today. The Legion unit sold 3,500 poppies and received .$215 while V. F. W. volunteers sold 1,000 and collected j ai$193.89.
