Cook Rites At La mesaFuneral service has been set for 4 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Lamesa for Tim O. Cook, 71, a former Snyder resident who died Sunday night in a Lamesa hospital.The Rev. Bill Hardage will officiate and burial will be in Lamesa Memorial Park under direction of Branon Funeral Home of Lamesa.Mr. Cook, a retired banker, had served with banks in Lamesa and Snyder. He was a Mason and a Baptist deacon and had served as Lions Club president and Deputy District Lions Governor. He was a former director of the Lamesa Fair Association.Surviving are his wife; a son, Jerry Cook of Austin; a sister, Mrs. Elma Barnhart of Tyler ; a brother, Otho Cook of Graham, and two grandchildren.
